I was starting to think the  Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” were never going to come out, but finally Jordan Brand has finally made the official day to drop  April 21 they still have alot of the same features 97' 12's like the black and white  leather upper and varsity red branding. Detailing hits on the model include metallic silver upper eyelets, grey Jumpman branding on the lateral midfoot, and the number 23 on the heel. These were one of my favorite pairs and if I got to stand in line for two days I'm coppin them "IOOOOOOOOON Care" lol. During a studio session in Brooklyn, New York last night (March 28), Beanie Sigel spoke one-on-one with AllHipHop.com about the new deal and what it means for the future of his solo career, and more importantly, his State Property affiliates. “That’s what kind of pushed me to really do this album. I was sought out by Chris Schwartz. He had a situation at EMI and was looking for an artist,” Beanie Sigel explained.

Big Sean Speaks On New Mixtape, Ludacris & More

While speaking to TheWellVersed during MTV’s Spring Break (they still do that?) in Las Vegas, Big Sean opens up about that riff with Chris Lova Lova, his plans for 2012 and an upcoming mixtape with two “big ass artists…”


When speaking of the Supa Dupa Flow (which he addressed in last year’s interview with The Well Versed), Sean knows that this has been a touchy subject in hip-hop and has played a part in dividing the new era of emcees from the older artists that helped pave the way. Of course this leads to the war of words between Big Sean and Ludacris over the origination of the Supa Dupa Flow. Ludacris fired off a salvo with last year’s “Badaboom.” Although he continues to shrug off the beef, Sean admits that he was once a fan of Ludacris and now is relatively surprised to see him at odds with a rapper he grew up listening to. “It’s crazy! I remember getting a Ludacris CD in the sixth grade for Christmas. But that shows me how well I’m doing the people I used to look up to as a kid are now the competition. That’s inspiring.”

… The only thing Big Sean is concerned with now is his new mixtapes and sophomore album. Since releasing his debut, Sean hasn’t put out much in terms of new music. But that’s by design and he’s ready to deliver the goods in the coming months.

“I’ve just been making sure my next move is right because you can fuck it all up and I’m not about to fuck it all up. It takes time to make an album,” the Detroit emcee says. Sean reveals that a collaborative mixtape is on its way featuring two other heavy hitters in hip-hop. “We have a group mixtape coming, I’m not going to tell you with who but it is with two other big ass artists. We’re about to drop that.”

When I first heard the term, “Cardigans and Cigars,” I was immediately taken back to the early 1960s, specifically the heyday of the Rat Pack. Humphrey Bogart. Frank Sinatra. Sammy Davis Jr. Some of the greatest entertainers of our time whose style and poise was emphasized by the mere sport of a simple cardigan sweater or the tug of a smoke-filled cigar. Many Alius readers may not understand the nostalgia of this type of style…the class…the charisma…the individuality of this type of fashion. Other readers who are caught up on the history of men’s fashion (or who watch “Mad Men”) may in fact understand what this particular trend did for the professionalism, authority and refinement of men during that time period. Regardless, it is a style that is still mimicked to this day, not so much in physical appearance but in the inherent message that a man brave enough to demand attention with his mere style of dress sends to those around him.
