John Woo is a Hong Kong-based designer and illustrator who has a knack for blending fashion with science fiction. His “He Wears It” series of paintings depicted Star Wars characters decked out in outfits from the likes of Maison Martin Margiela, Thom Browne, A.P.C. and Supreme. A second set of illustrations, now including characters from the Batman films, is available for purchase. There’s Chewbacca in outdoor style, a Tusken Raider in Number (N)ine, Padme Amidala in Gareth Pugh, the Joker in Junya Watanabe, and Catwoman in Rick Owens. Each 13 x 19-inch print is individually signed and numbered, with quantities limited to just 100. Featuring acrylic or watercolor on fine art paper, the collection is available now through Etsy.
