Santigold creates a regal cover for her sophomore album Master of My Make-Believe (due May 1). The Roc Nation musician taps photographer Jason Schmidt for a “Bond girl” look, an army officer look, and a mafioso on the three-look album cover. The art is based off 18th-century British artist Joshua Reynolds’ painting of Banastre Tarleton titled “Portrait of an Officer.” A behind-the-scenes clip of the cover shoot from Explorer’s Club in New York after the jump.
