Fresh off his performance with Childish Gambino at the Coachella Valley Music Festival a couple weekends ago, Danny Brown will be returning home this Saturday, April 28, 2012, to lead the bill at the first ever Dreamchasers: Hip Hop Invasion event at the Emerald Theater in Mount Clemens, Mich. Although Brown may be the biggest name to perform that night, the purpose of the showcase is to spotlight seven local hip hop artists. Also performing at the showcase are Nate Eaken, K-Deezy, Sayitainttone, Shannon Alston, Danny Brown, Dusty McFly and Jon Connor. Dreamchasers is hosted by veteran hip hop lovers and event organizers, Mikey Eckstein, Will Willingham II and Brandon Lee and will without a doubt be a treat for true hip hop heads throughout the metropolitan Detroit area. As a 2012 XXL freshman and fashion forward free spirit, Brown is sure to attract a diverse crowd of punk rockers and true rap lovers alike with his edgy sound and unique appearance.
