When I saw Chanel Iman's look for Coachella this past weekend I thought it was different and daring which was fitting for the randomness that is the Coachella festival. One part that caught my eye was how she incorporated a leather harness in her look, the perfect mixture of sex and fashion, leather harnesses can give the right amount of edge and provocativeness to any outfit.Read more after the jump.....
Although we are barely into spring/summer, one trend for fall 2012 seems to be harness belts, once thought to be solely for s&m, the leather belts were seen on runway shows from Herve Leger, Max Azria, Monique Lhuillier, to Altuzarra. Not only can the harnesses make you look more slim and look good on any size, but they will also command attention because of the intricate designs.

Whether you wear the belts over a sexy or contemporary dress, over a plain white tank top, or over a jacket or blouse, if you are daring enough, this is one look you want to make sure you incorporate in your wardrobe for the fall because it can easily be worn with a regular pair of jeans or skirt. It may seem like this trend would be too sexy for a daytime look, but it can be worn on a casual trip to run errands or if your meeting up with friends. There are different versions of the harness belt, whether it's a double strap, 3 strap, or 4 strap, each one is just as fashionable than the next. While I know the majority of us can't afford the runway versions, I found some budget friendly options that will still allow you to make any street your personal runway.
