Kicks Of The Day: Adidas AdiZero Rush

Expanding beyond basketball, adidas announced the new adiZero Rush, one of the lightest general purpose running sneakers out on the market today. At only 7.5 ounces, the adiZero Rush took on many of the design characteristics from its b-ball counterpart, the adiZero Crazy Light and adiZero Rose. With adiPrene+ and trademarked Lightstrike EVA, the midsole’s overall weight is now 15% less yet more resilient and responsive than previous designs. Runners will also feel a springiness in their strides, due largely to the SprintFrame element, which helps return some of the kinetic energy spent on each step. Because of its SprintWeb upper, more weight reduction was possible with an additional benefit, the nylon mesh construct permits more breath-ability. To coincide with its launch, adidas implemented a new 30-second spot featuring high school athletes of all kind at full on speed. A new promotional campaign with interactions between all participants will also take place virtually on adidas Running Facebook Page. Comes in seven bold color combinations and two sets of laces, the adidas adiZero Rush is now available for $100.
