Nike Store Launches New Twitter RSVP System

As of lately, the process of camping for sneakers has been a bit of an issue. In light of the challenges that this has caused, Nike Stores across the country and implementing a new Twitter RSVP system. The way the system works is as follows: On the selected RSVP date, but random time, local Nike Stores will tweet out that the RSVP process has started. You must then Direct Message (DM) the selected store with the product-specific #tag tweeted by the store, the last 4 digits of your State/Passport/Military/School ID number, and your shoe size. If received in time, the store will reply with a confirmation via DM. For full details, check after the jump..........

KicksOnFire: Top 20 Nike Foamposites We’d Like to See

One of my favorite sites did another Top 20 with Foamposites this time Here's the article from the site.

"It’s safe to say that after Air Jordans, the line up that creates the most havoc at stores and midnight releases is Nike’s Foamposite model. According to the previews of the 2011 Nike Foamposites, it seems that Nike has finally decided to feed the addiction of Foamposite collectors. Next year, Foamposite Hall of Famers, Copper and Eggplant Foamposites will be joined by the classic Royal Blue colorway along with some newcomers such as the Electric Green and Metallic Pewter colorways.

The editors at KicksOnFire decided to come up with some colorways of our own! Check out the Top 20 Nike Foamposites We’d Like to See. Through our experience, we’ve learned that major brands always have their ears open for suggestions. If we can create enough buzz for specific colorways, we can cross our fingers and hope that Nike hears us. Make sure you tweet and share on facebook if you like any of the colorways ahead…

Nike SB Koston 1 – “White Gum”

With the old adage of not wearing white after Labor Day far off in September, this classic Nike SB Koston 1 is a great summer time option set in “White Gum.” Sporting a white leather and suede perforated upper with a smooth off-white Swoosh, the overall minimalist look gets some extra pop with a synthetic ankle color and a touch of white on its gum rubber midsole. The brightly colored Skytop and Society models are simple, yet its eye catching blue colorway should bring attention to your feet. Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi – “Leopard” Preview

After its commemorative project on the Pump and Workout, could the Ex-O-Fit be the next inline for a major haul over from Reebok? This might just be the case as Swizz Beatz previewed a glimpse of what is to come later this year on his Instagram, a pair of Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi in faux leopard fur. Accentuated with gum rubber outsole and black leather elements, no detailed information on its design or release date are available yet at the moment.

Kicks Of The Day: Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme "Galaxy" All-Star PE

In just his second full season in the NBA, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin was voted in as a starter for theAll-Star Game. With the amount of highlight reel-worthy plays he makes throughout the course of a season in a city like Los Angeles, it's hard to imagine a scenario where he doesn't start for the foreseeable future. In this year's game, Nike hooked Blake up with a special "Galaxy" version of the Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme, a model he's been wearing with the Clippers for the last several months. Today, we get a closer look at these space age kicks.

A mixture of blues and greens are used on the shoe's upper, which is constructed with synthetic materials, mesh,Flywire and TPU overlays. Black works the tongue, collar and a starry-speckled midsole, while the popular Galaxy print appears on the laces and inner lining. A custom BG32 mission patch appears on the tongue; Swoosh logos on the side panels are done in orange; and a glow-in-the-dark outsole finishes things off below.

BTNC x Stussy Tee & Nike Dunk SB

The Southern California skate shop, Beatnic (BTNC) is turning 10 and to celebrate the occasion, a handful of anniversary related products will be released. For this release, they got together with longtime friends, Stussy, on this special collaborative tee shirt. The graphics feature the beatnic of all beatnics and pioneer of the Beat Generation, Jack Kerouac. BTNC also received 24 pairs of specially etched and packaged Nike Dunk SBs for the occasion that will also be available for sale. The items will be available exclusively at BTNC.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Release Info Update

Nike is keeping the information around the Air Yeezy 2 launch very tight and therefore we can only try to pin point release information, colorways and other details around the Kanye West designed sneaker.

As a quick recap, for now you have seen the black colorway of the sneaker, as well as the zen grey colorway. Also we have shown you a purple version of the sneaker, which turned out to be an exclusive for Kobe Bryant, so will probably not be a general release.

As reported earlier by us, the Nike Air Yeezy 2 was supposed to release on March 23. Since no official images of the shoe have turned up yet, that date is becoming unlikely. We would not entirely rule it out, but most likely the release has been pushed back. Also we have heard that the release will be split up, with each colorway of the sneaker dropping on a different date.

New rumors now suggest, that the grey/white colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 will be the first to release and that it will drop on April 13. Also the sneaker supposedly comes with a matching dust bag and will be priced at 250 USD.

Tires aren’t the only things Big K.R.I.T. rotates. His sneakers stay clean and serve as a time machine just the same, taking him way, way back to days when being a rap star was just a dream.
