RIHANNA IS PURSUING A FASHION LINE

About time!!  Many of you may have just paused, gasped and re-read after seeing the above headline. Like me, I know many budding and experienced fashionistas have spent hours upon hours (LOL!) or even minutes upon minutes ogling Rihanna's style and wondering what kind of crazed, fashionable mind would create and put together some of the pieces that she rocks.  I give a lot of credit to her stylists, but I think even more credit goes to Rih Rih!  This self-proclaimed "Good Girl Gone Bad" has an air of mystery and badassness to her that would make even your Mama's curtains look like the hottest cocktail dress or gown. In short, THE GIRL HAS STYLE.

With that said, I could not be more excited to announce that the platinum-selling songstress is currently working on her own fashion line soon to be in stores.  In a radio interview last week with Ryan Seacrest, the Barbadian beauty explained that she is working with designers that she really respects in order to produce a line of quality.  She wants to earn her position in the fashion world.  Much respect goes to Rihanna on this one.  She is already the face of Emporio Armani Jeans and lingerie and has worked with countless designers throughout her career including her favorites, Zac Posen and DSquared.  We also know that Rihanna has an affinity for British designers so I am almost certain her line will mirror that coupled with her own edge. Sexy Tuesdays: 2012 Calendar Girls by Willy Vanderperre for VMAN

As part of their 25th issue, VMAN has recruited Carine Roitfeld as its guest editor. Together with photographer Willy Vanderperre they present a 2012 Calendar Girls section, featuring some of the world’s most recognizable top models. Including among others Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Chanel Iman, Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Lily Donaldson, Joan Smalls, and Izabel Goulart, the new issue of VMAN will hit newsstands on February 14th, 2012. adidas Originals By Jeremy Scott feat. Mademoiselle Yulia

Select highlights from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection from adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott have been styled on Japanese DJ and style icon Mademoiselle Yulia as part of a photo shoot. In addition to the still shots, this video companion was created giving a look inside the photo session, as well as some insights into the collection from the mademoiselle herself. Wildfox Summer 2012 feat. Charlotte Free

Mark “The Cobra Snake” Hunter just shot a really nice new Summer 2012 lookbook for the women’s brand Wildfox. We’ve seen quite a bit of the lookbook’s star, Charlotte Free, as of late, but we are not complaining. The lovely pink-haired beauty was recently seen in the latest adidas lookbook here. For this campaign, Wildfox went with a mermaid theme, which the embellish upon here:

Daisy Lowe was photographed by Toby McFarlan Pond. Entitled ‘Closer’, “Daisy Lowe showcases precious stones by some of the world’s most well known brands”, including Cartier and Tiffany.

Just after reporting about the shoot that he did of Lindsay Lohan for LOVE Magazine, new images from a shoot at LA’s Chateau Marmont surface today. The new black/white images have a nice 70s vibe + a little nip slip action!

Seen as an agitator, for reasons good or bad, Venus X often controversial and blunt approaches have won her plenty of fans and foes. Yet thanks to her GHE20G0TH1K mixed genres and media party, none could dismiss her considerable influence on New York, the same way how aNYthing have shaped neighborhood by East Broadway, a junction point between NYC’s Chinatown and Lower East Side.

Sexy Tuesdays: Damaris Lewis SI Swimsuit Model

Damaris Lewis, 20, is a native New Yorker. Discovered as a teenager while performing with her dance troupe, she started modeling while attending the LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts. Damaris has worked with clients such as V, French Vogue, Victoria's Secret, Benetton, Saks, MAC Cosmetics and YSL. This marks Damaris' third appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She appeared briefly in the 2011 movie Limitless, dancing in a club with the starring Bradley Cooper, and in the music video for Kanye West's single "Monster".
